Product Description

This insect piece consists of a flat piece of cognac amber with a swarm of midges inside and several air bubbles. The air bubbles often pop inside the amber during the fossilisation process but these bubbles have remained intact for around 50 million years! A close up photograph of the inclusions is also supplied.
